    Hey there,

Not really sure who to direct this to (other than the S2S Forum Gods) but my name is Charles Borland and I am a prospective student thinking of applying to Wharton for enrollment in the fall of 2012 with a career focus in Entertainment & Media post-graduation. I am writing in the hopes that I might ask a few questions regarding the experience at Wharton in relation to E&M. For instance, I am curious if many students interested in E&M applied and were accepted to other programs that have a specific Entertainment and/or Media concentration such as Columbia and Stern? If so, are they happy in their choice of Wharton? What courses might be recommended, and are they still offered? The general feeling of how E&M is presented as a career focus at Wharton. What E&M career opportunities/internships are highlighted there. Is the focus at Wharton regarding E&M more technology, finance, or management driven? And some other questions.
If you who are reading this, or someone else you might recommend, are available to chat I would be sincerely grateful.
Thanks in advance for any insights you might have.
    All the best,
    Charles Borland

    Charles,

You might want to reach out to the Wharton Media and Entertainment Club. See http://whartonmedia.org/ for more details and contact information.

Generally speaking, most Wharton classes are non-industry specific, although certain industries may better leverage certain class concepts.

You may also want to look at Wharton's WIMI initiative (which is now called WCAI): http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/wcai/.
