    Details at http://engage.wharton.upenn.edu/MBA/blogs/mbaadmissions_blog/archive/2009/10/13/next-steps-for-wharton-mba-and-mba-ma-lauder-round-1-applicants.aspx

The nature of Wharton's review process is that typically the bulk of interview invitations go out in the final couple of weeks of the review process.

    Karan,

By 5 pm, November 12, 2009, you should have either received an interview invitation or a denial. For those who receive interview invitations, final decisions will be released on December 18, 2009. These offical decisions will come through the applyyourself interface, I believe, though frequently someone will try to contact those accepted either by phone or email (on December 18th) to express their congratulations.

    Hi Karan212,

I appreciate your situation but unfortunately no one on this board can tell you the percentage of applications that have been reviewed to date. Every application is read thoroughly by several readers before interview invites are sent out. This will continue till November 12, 2009 when all Round 1 mid-decisions would be released. Please relax and don't be anxious if you still have not received an invite. The bulk of the invites normally go out in the last week of the interview invitation window so just relax. Just be assured that if you applied, your application will be read and you will be invited if AdCom deems it fit to do so.
