I think I am asking this on behalf of a lot of anxious candidates. Can you give an estimate of approximately how many (% or range) slots are still open for Round 1 interviews?

Wharton doesn't have any fixed number of interview slots, and interviews are extended to all viable candidates, regardless of the number that this actually ends up representing. An application in the very last batch to be processed is just as likely to be invited as one in the very first.

    Thanks!

I guess another way to ask would be what % of applications have been reviewed so far?

Adcom don't track this on a daily basis, but the nature of Wharton's process is such that the majority of invites go out in the final 2 weeks of the invitation 'window', including a significant proportion in the final few days.

Personally, I received my invitation on the second last day of invitations going out.

    anaru,

First, this information is not publicly available. Second, the number of applications reviewed to date can fluctuate notably day by day. Third, because applications can be reviewed more than one time before an interview opportunity is extended, this number would not help very much.

I know it is very tough to sit and wait (trust me, I was a bit anxious, myself, last year), but just hang in there and keep yourself occupied doing "good deeds." As they say, "a watched pot never boils."

    Cheers,
