Hi, Price,
Sorry for the delay in response. Hope everything worked out. During the information session, you may likely have met with second-year students and/or members of the Admissions staff.
While it usually doesn't hurt to meet different folks involved with Admissions, this won't automatically give you any advantage in the admissions process. AdCom members meet so many different people over the year that, to be frank, it is unlikely that just meeting one will have a profound impact on your application. Furthermore, the way in which applications are reviewed could make it that your application doesn't get reviewed by that same AdCom member(s) whom you meet.
That being said, there certainly is something potential to gain by getting to know an AdCom member insofar as listening to what they have to say about the admissions process and leveraging the insight they share in your applications.
In short, I would say, if you run into a member of AdCom while on campus, fantastic, but don't feel you have to go out of your way to do so.
Good luck,
Victor
