    Hi,

I would like to know which courses do students who are interested in pursuing a career in IP (consulting/commercializing) choose?

    Sandhir,

There are courses in the core curriculum that explore IP law and the issues around global harmonization of legal standards for IP. I believe there are also courses in the Legal Studies department that will provide interested students the requisite knowledge for success in their careers. Your surest source of accurate information on this matter is http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/mbaresource/

In addition, you can take non-Wharton courses at Penn Law if you so wish.

    I hope this helps.

    Sandhir,

You might want to check out LGST805/MKTG760, LGST 813, and LGST820 (see http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/mbaresource/curriculum/lgst/) for more details).

You might also find Ty's comments to be of interest:(http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/mba/student-life/ty-meeks.cfm).
